Designed by Messerschmitt and Lusser in 1934, the Bf 109 was one of the first truly modern aircraft of the era. Features such as a liquid-cooled V-12 engine, a closed canopy and retractable landing gear made the Bf 109 a huge improvement over WWI fighters. Powerful engines with superchargers and the option for extra guns, rockets, bombs or fuel tanks, made it a highly versatile fighter. Upgrades, variations, and field modifications kept the Bf 109 competitive through the end of the war. Kit features detailed cockpit and undercarriage plus full decals.

Launched in 1943, Revell initially produced a wide range of products, including train sets, scale buildings and “action pull toys” recreating some of America’s most popular automobiles.
