The Infiniti Q45, which appeared in the catchphrase of “Japan Original” in November 1989, was developed with the aim of being the world-class luxury car of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., with a grillless front mask, cloisonne emblem, and lacquered cluster. We pursued a unique sense of values with a novel concept that sets it apart from previous luxury car images such as panels.
The third-generation President, who was born in October 1990, extended the wheelbase by 150 mm based on the Infiniti Q45, and spent all of it to improve the comfort of the rear seats, ensuring its value as a chauffeur-driven vehicle. Then, in February 1992, the President JS, which has the same wheelbase as the Infiniti Q45, was introduced for personal users.
